How to Declare your Swimmer (pdf attached)
Declaring your Swimmer for Meets
What does it mean to declare for a swim meet?
Declaring means indicating whether you will be swimming in the meet or not.
Who Must declare?
Declaring for meets is required for all swimmers for every meet. Undeclared swimmers will NOT be included in any events for a meet.
Why is it important to declare your swimmer?
All entries must be completed by the cutoff time (48 hours before each meet) to give the coaches and computer lead time to set up the meet and communicate our roster to the other team. This is very important for setting up the events for the meet.
How to Declare:
Login to https://bmswim.swimtopia.com/login
Go to Meets & Events / Signup Calendar
Next go to the meet you are declaring for and click “Meet Entry”
Here you can see if the team needs more volunteers for this meet and sign up to volunteer, as well as edit your swimmer to attending or not attending
If your swimmer’s status changes, it’s important to update your swimmer ASAP. If something changes with your swimmer’s status less than 24 hours before a meet, you MUST contact the coaches so they can adjust the events your child is in.
