The Weddington Chase Wild Dolphins want to reach out and extend a warm welcome to the Bridgemill Bluefins. We have a swim meet scheduled for Thursday, June 18 at our pool at 6:00. We are excited to wrap up our season with a fun and spirited meet!
The address to our clubhouse and pool is 8001 Stonehaven Drive, Marvin NC 28173. There is limited parking in the clubhouse parking lot, so please ask parents to park on the side of the road closest to the clubhouse to allow space for through traffic. We will have signs up to remind visitors to park only on one side. To get to the pool deck, approach the clubhouse from the left side (closest to the tennis courts and playground) and the sidewalk will lead you to the pool gate. The gate will be open for everyone to pass through. The slide side of the pool deck will be available for your team and their families. We encourage everyone to bring lawn chairs as there is limited seating around the pool deck and tables and chairs often get claimed quickly. Restrooms are located on the opposite side of the clubhouse from the tennis courts and playground - there will be signs pointing to the restrooms to help you find them.
The Wild Dolphin Grillmaster will be cooking hamburgers and hot dogs, plus we’ve got chips, candy, fruit, ice cream, and drinks available at the concessions stand, so come hungry! We will have a limited number of veggie burgers available as well. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Families are welcome to bring coolers, but please leave glass containers at home.
We host a 6 lane meet in our 25 meter pool. For 10 and under relays, we will be doing in-water starts at the shallow end of the pool. Visiting team warmups will begin at 5:30. We will have a meeting for timers and judges about 15 minutes before the meet begins.
